Yin Yoga & Meditation

Yin Yoga is a passive stretching of the body.  It differs from 'regular' yoga as most of the poses are lying/seated on the floor or standing next to a wall.  Meditation and breathwork are important components of the class to allow the mind to also stretch and relax.  Yin Yoga attempts to maintain the internal balance of the physical body.  No yoga experience required.  All are welcome. Yoga mat, 2 blocks, and 1 yoga strap (and bolster/pillows if you’d like).

Classes are on Mondays from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  The dates of each session are as follows:

 

  • March 24th through April 21st (Session 1 - 5 weeks)

  • May 5th through June 2nd (Session 2 - 5 weeks)

    Please note - this class is NOT offered in the summer. It will be replaced with Chair Yoga. Yin Yoga & Meditation will return in the fall.

In Person Yoga (Asana)

I currently only teach Yoga for the City of Huntington Beach at the Edison Comm. Center (ECC) located off of Magnolia and Hamilton. You can register by clicking the link below or going to the ECC in person. The staff are very kind and helpful.

Yoga with Elena

An excellent way to end the middle of the week! Yoga welcomes beginners and intermediate students alike. Class will be relaxing and opening yet challenging so that you can connect back to what's

important...YOU. Join us as we move, breathe, get inspired and have fun! Bring a yoga mat, two yoga blocks, and water. 

Classes are on Wednesdays from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.  Each session has six classes.  The dates of each session are as follows:

 

  • September 11th through October 16th (Session 1)

  • October 30th through December 11th (Session 2)
